Productive

Well today was a fairly productive day, some things fun some things not so much…

As usual I started out my day with one of these:

I look forward to this moment every morning...

I drank it as I watched a little Food Network, a Saturday morning tradition. Next up:

2 eggs today

I meant to do a repeat of yesterday with one egg and one egg white but I had a little mishap. As I cracked the second egg into the bowl the egg yolk broke and  went in the bowl as well. So two eggs it is!

Maybe I shouldn’t crack my eggs so hard?

Alongside was…

Chocolicious Oats

These were good: oats, spoonful of chia seeds, a little vanilla almond milk and a heaping spoonful of cocoa powder!

Today’s workout was kind-of pathetic, I ran on the beach trail for 2.35 miles in 20 minutes time. I pushed myself really hard and sprinted my little heart out the last 100 meters. Still not very impressive.

After my run I drove alllll over the place to do some wedding errands. First stop, Fullerton to pick up my mom’s dress for the wedding. From there, Newport Beach to pick up our wedding invitations, that was exciting!

Woo Hoo!

These boxes are pretty but the invitations are even prettier!!

On my way home I hit a little of this:

Traffic...ugh

On a Saturday? Welcome to Orange County!

So I had one of these to get me through:

Check out those stats!

Holy Deliciousness

Have you tried these yet?? If not, I highly suggest you do. Dooo it!

I thought I was eating a candy bar, it was so yummy. Definitely helped get me through the unexpected Saturday traffic.

Once home I dug into lunch:

Tuna Salad

My version of tuna salad is 1/4 cup of tuna plus 1/2 cup non-fat cottage cheese and salt & pepper to taste! I just recently experimented with this combination and it tastes really good. I enjoyed it on a sandwich thin with some green beans on the side. Oh, I also went and grabbed some of these too:

Peanuts!

A handful of unsalted peanuts is one of my go-to snacks.

Look what was on TV as I ate my lunch:

It's a Classic

I couldn’t help but think of my Dad, I know my wedding is definitely taking a chunk out of his wallet…

Thanks Dad!!! 🙂

Now, for the unpleasant half of my day…. it was filled with housework, YUCK! I had to do it, our house was gettin’ a little grody.

Also, Pat was at work healing the animals so I wanted to get everything done today so we can play and relax tomorrow!

I don’t know why but housework always zaps me, I’m exhausted and hungry once finished!

Good thing it’s dinner time:

More green beans!

One chicken taco with black beans a little cheddar cheese on top and some roasted green beans on the side. Have you ever roasted green beans? I just recently started to and it was a good move, I love roasting veggies!

Well just like last night I polished off another one of these:

Yup

I think I may have a slight problem… I honestly cannot go a day without something sweet. I think this is called a sugar addiction. I don’t know what do you think?

Well, Pat and I have a fun day planned tomorrow. Were going to Temecula to visit my family, it’s kind-of-a long drive but it’s worth it!

I hope your Saturday night is more exciting than mine, my buns are glued to the couch and so are Pat’s. Hopefully there is a good movie to watch.

See ya tomorrow!
